best roiute to las vegas

we are going to LV in the next 2 weeks. We wanted to try a different route. Has anyone gone on I84 west along the columbia river and then south on 97 to Klamouth Falls? what are the road conditions this time of the year. We thought this route might avoid the mt. passes.

fiesta rv park

Has anyone stayed at Fiesta rv park in Bullhead City, Az.
We stayed there for a month last winter. I was told Wayne Newton had built it as an investment but has since sold it. The layout was nice but everything seems to be run down. The tennis courts, the concrete was all broke up. The rv sites weren` very level and the concrete pads were new but didn`t line up with the rv. They seem to discourage rv`s and only want park models. I wondered if any one else has stayed there and if they felt the way we did.

RE: purchasing a 98 holiday rambler

I do know that it is a ford engine. what I was concerend with was the storage especially in the kitchen area. I just wondered whether any other HR vacationer!s had a problem with this. Our other MH was only 30 ft no slide and had more storage cabinets than this 36 ft. The stove top was not flush with the counter so that you could use that space. My wife could not see where she would put dishes and or food suplies in such small cabinets. I like the driver door that was a plus. there is more clothing closet space than our 30ft. but wondered whether we were just upgrading for a few things and maybe its not worth what they want for it.

purchasing a 98 holiday rambler

I have a chance to purchase a 98 holiday rambler 36 ft. for less than %35,000 one slide, excellent condition. low mileage. The only problem we noticed was very little storage in the kitchen area. Does anyone out there own one and what do you think ? we have owned rv!s for many years but never had own this long or with a slide.

fmca rally

We are planning on going to the FMCA NW area rally in Albany, Oregon
June 4-7. Does anyone know anything about the area? Is there grass where we will be parked? I know it rains so much down there and we were hoping it might be a area where there is concrete parking?

we took that trip many years ago in a 26 ft. motorhome. It was beautiful. There are lots of curves , the gas was very high then, can`t imagine how it is now!
You must see the redwoods, Hurst Castle , San Francisco and Monterey

RE: Dumping in the parking lot???

I`ve always thought it would be terrific if every rest area on the interstate system had a rv dump and fresh water. If our goverment can`t even repair our interstate system I suppose that would be impossible
